Today I re-read our entire kick starter and many of your emails from the launch of the campaign to now. It has been quite a journey with many unexpected turns, additional (and unexpected) work, as well as a bit of bad health and apocalyptic weather down here. October, we are editing and rewriting a few sections of some of the adventures. Creating the Encounter Encyclopedia entries in each module for the special edition version you will get.

Last time I posted an update, we were more or less on schedule. Today after putting together the final checklist, I think we may be 25-35 days behind schedule due to some late turnovers, the weather which put us out for about two weeks and some health issues which slowed us down during the summer. Not to mention expanding the kick starter to have several extra booklets and 12 full adventure modules. Those 12 modules represent about 3 times the work of the Blasted Earth sourcebook.

However, we are still on schedule to start delivery in November as of today. The extra card decks may miss the loot box mailing and if they do, we will ship them as soon as they arrive. Some of the booklets that were either listed as bonuses, or we did not reach the funding level to produce will be delivered as PDF's after the physical products and PDF rewards have been delivered. As they were not funded they take a second priority given the slip in schedule. However, I will provide those as a way of rewarding those of you who helped fund this kick starter I just have to do those last.

 

Valerie will be running a 77 Worlds adventure at Game hole con in November. James M. Ward will be running a 77 Worlds game and a Dragonscales game. The Dragonscales kick starter was delayed as our schedule slipped but we hope to launch it this month. We have the rules and two adventures sitting in the queue for the layout to be done so just need to fund the printing and authors compensation. I hope many of you will join us for that kick starter. Finally, We will be doing the Apocalyptic Mars kick starter a month after the Dragonscales kick starter Here is how the survey came in on which products you want to see next. I am sure we will get to all four and likely most of them in 2018.

We continue to move forward in Apocalyptic Florida

This morning, here in Florida, we had another glorious apocalyptic dawn of swirling doom. Its going to be a fantastic adventure. I plan to deliver an apocalyptic weather system as a PDF to all backers.

Where we are, Editing AS3 “The Blasted Earth” we are adding a bit more content and should go into initial layout of the hardback in a week. We have 8 Adventures written and two more in progress. Art has been coming in over the weekend so layout of 2-6 should get done over the next two weeks.

Andrew submitted a wonderful adventure plot and write up. Once everything else is done, I will flesh this out into a full adventure modules and all backers will get a PDF of this kickstarter only Adventure as yet another bonus.

We are on track to deliver all the rewards in November. Enjoy your day my friends

For the rest of, we are looking at the best way to send you your products so that once the last book is completed we will be ready to start shipping. For the digital products we have completed the new website and have a dedicated eBook store where you will be able to download all your digital editions in September-December. 77worlds.com

The final art for the android card deck has been gathered and will be sent off to our illustrators next week. These images will also grace our Android, Cyborg, and Robot guide book. I am hoping to have a 16-32 page Blasted Earth Edition completed in time to include it in all your loot boxes for free or at least get it in PDF form as a free download for all backers.

The Blasted Earth book continues to make strong progress through editing and layout. The NPC character types was expanded to include three new types last week. As we edit new sections of the book they are vetted both from an editorial and a game design point of view. This is proving to be very beneficial in rounding out content for your campaigns.

Delivery Process

Good Morning,

We have started the (long) process to gathing all your data and setting up packing list. Product delivery for some may occur as early as September as we expect the books to be completed in August-September time frame. FInal print editions should be printed and ready to pack for shipping in November, All boxes should be shipped on or before November 14th. Backerkit has begun the process of charging credit cards and validating all shipping addresses. Once they complete the process, we will start working on digital delivery email confirmations and then move right into fulfillment as soon as the last printed product arrives in house.

What in the box?  well, everything listed in your backer reward level will be there of course. In addition, we have several items we are working to complete which will be included as bonuses. For digital backers some of the bonuses are physical with others can be delivered as PDF's. You will get all digital bonuses and there will be an opportunity to get some of the physical bonus rewards for the cost of shipping in November if you decide you are interested.

Survey Extended

Given the holiday and the convention that was in progress last week. I have extended the lockdown for the survey from the 7th to the 14th. That will give those just getting back home time to finish their survey and it will allow the lockdown to occur at the same time the new website goes online. http://Firesidecreations.com or http://77worlds.com

There are only 12 people left that need to complete the survey.

If you have been trying to create an account at the website, it went offline on Friday evening for a major upgrade to a more stable Joomla framework and while we were down a major redesign effort is being made. I think you will enjoy the new experience when it comes back online in a few days. No Worries! if you had an account it will still be there. What you will notice is a new way to list products by author, a redesigned store thats easy to navigate and supports more products. a brand new eBook/PDF/Kindle store as requested, and a cleaner looking forum to chat about all the games we produce.

Web site content, back stories, product descriptions, and better images of the products and their contents are all being working on now. The anthologies are in the process of being converted to PDF, Kindle, and flipbook formats. If you use other formats let me know we maybe able to add them. Soon all of our products will be available on the devices you prefer to use and as PDF's for your electronic collection. The lunar resort vol1 anthology is already available as a PDF on the website.

Finally, all the PDF's on the site are being rewritten, updated, and expanded. Most of these are free downloads. The first newsletter will be available in the new eBook store sometime this month as well.
